Do you want support in organizational development initiatives and strategic planning?

Sage Transitions manages organizational development and strategic plans that engage employees, leaders, and stakeholders in meaningful consultation and discussion.

We review organizational structures, develop individual and team skills, performance metrics, and adapt and develop business strategies and systems.

Sage Transitions works with for-profit companies, post-secondary institutions, and not-for-profit organizations to support their organizational change needs. We’ve facilitated complex strategic plans, business case research, development of both funding and business proposals, and systems, processes, and organizational structure reviews.

Sage Transitions uses a variety of tools and methods to support our clients. We ask good questions, review current systems, and collaborate to develop customized plans and processes. Sometimes large and complex projects require additional bench strength, and so we expand our team with other consultants, each with the required skills and knowledge.

case: organizational review

OKANAGAN COLLEGE, BC CANADA

Okanagan College, Continuing Studies and Corporate Training wanted to conduct a comprehensive organizational review. Sage Transitions used SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) to complete a research-based consultation strategy. By first analyzing the performance of current systems, practices, and structures, we built a consultation strategy that included feedback from college employees and leaders, students, instructors, and clients; this gave us the data and the insight to develop a robust review and a range of recommendations and options.

case: community-capacity building

CENTRAL OKANAGAN, BC CANADA

In 2019, a group of organizations gathered to develop a community leadership program. The Steering Committee wanted to offer a training program for emerging leaders that would be inclusive and reflective of the community, and provide diverse tools to foster fresh approaches. A key program element included a community impact project for participants to practice the skills they gain through the leadership program. Sage Transitions researched other leadership programs, conducted a community consultation, and developed a summary of research results and recommendations.

case: not-for-profit performance

BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA

Many not-for-profits need to explore ways to achieve their goals; this may involve everything from strategic planning to fund development. The key element for Sage Transitions is the ability to quickly understand the organization, its needs, and the ways in which it does business. We have worked with many organizations, in many sectors, to complete strategic plans, review policies and procedures, and develop business cases and funding applications. All of these processes require an ability to listen to the client, conduct efficient research, and provide clear reports, results, and recommendations.
